Ode to Johnny Depp...

We know him, we love him, we want to see more of him. Johnny Depp is my favorite actor. He is not only a diverse talent, but a timeless risk taker. I just saw Sweeney Todd on Friday and it was truly a treat. The music was phenomenal especially the opening number "No Place Like London."
My favorite lyric is:
"There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
and it's filled with people who are filled with shit!
And the vermin of the world inhabit it!"
Depp is the greatest young actor of our time. Let's celebrate some of the other magical work he's done. Rent it or buy it on DVD and invite some pals over for a Depp-a-thon. Heeeeere's Johnny!

Once Upon A Time In Mexico-Johnny has a trick arm.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-Johnny as Willy Wonka. A little freaky, but still an instant classic.

Sleepy Hollow-Johnny in the pale white make up that he looks so hot in as he battles the legend of the headless horseman.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl--Johnny as a pirate.

Donnie Brasco-Johnny plays an undercover cop planted among mobsters.

What's Eating Gilbert Grape-Johnny plays the sensitive big brother to disabled Leo Dicaprio's character and son to a 600 pound mother.

Blow-Johnny plays a coke dealer.

Ed Wood-Johnny plays a cross dressing director in a black and white film.

Benny and Joon-Johnny plays a Buster Keaton type character that will still your heart and your sister.

Crybaby-Johnny Depp in a leather jacket in a John Waters film. It doesn't get better than this people.
